When I was in high school, I had this teacher that would say “you don’t have to do anything in life. You just have to accept the consequences of not doing it.”

Kids would try to prove him wrong by throwing out all of the things they have to do. “Homework.” He would say, “no you don’t have to do homework. You just have to accept the consequence of a F.”

“Breathing!!!” He replied, “no, you just have to accept the consequence of dying.”

My point of this is, do whatever you want. There are no rules. Some consequences are worth it. Some aren’t.
